A woman has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the deaths of her ex-partner and his mother after eating a pot cake. The deaths occurred this Sunday (17) in Goiás.
According to family members, the man had no health problems and was feeling well the day he ate the dessert.
Both began experiencing symptoms of vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea approximately three hours after eating the candy.
It is suspected that the cake was bought by a woman in a shopping center located in Goiania and she later poisoned it.
