Two 30-year-old men were hospitalized this Saturday (9) after a concrete slab weighing one ton fell on them at a salt company in Imbituba, in the south of Santa Catarina.
They called the fire department and SAMU. One victim experienced pain in the back, in the area of the back where the plate hit, but the mobility of the limbs was preserved.

The other man had several fractures in his right leg. He required a blood transfusion to stabilize his clinical condition.
The injured were taken to the San Camilo Hospital in Imbituba. But due to the severity of the accident, they were transferred to the Nossa Senhora da Conceição hospital in Tubaran.
SAER (Southern Santa Catarina Aeromedical Service) was also involved in the incident. The men remain in hospital.
