The 39-year-old man was killed by the ex-boyfriend of his current partner in Cazador, western Santa Catarina. The crime occurred on Sunday (3) in front of an ice cream shop in the Center. The victim received four stab wounds.

According to the Prime Minister (Military Police), the suspect in the stabbing of the victim is a 45-year-old man. The crime was recorded by CCTV cameras; according to the police, his 22-year-old son also participated in the crime.

The prime minister said the victim and his girlfriend arrived at an ice cream shop on Avenida Barão do Rio Branco when they found the suspect.

He did not accept the end of the relationship and stabbed the victim at least four times. The man was rescued by Samu and taken to hospital, but later died.

Father and son fled the scene. After a search, the Tachiko garrisons found the two at home early this Monday morning (4), where they were detained.
