The 18-year-old girl was found lying on Rua San José, next to the cemetery in Tijucas, in Greater Florianopolis, at around 7:30 am on Saturday (25). According to military police, she had abrasions on her face and arms and smelled of ethyl alcohol.
The young man was able to say his name only after Samu’s encouragement.
Police said the street was “deserted” and there were no witnesses nearby. When attempting to contact the young woman, she was reported to respond with slurred and incoherent responses, making it impossible to determine the woman’s name or the reason she was injured.
The Prime Minister called Samu (Mobile Emergency Service), which assisted the victim. In the ambulance, a young woman managed to say her name and reported that she had been attacked by several people. She was unable to provide names or characteristics of the authors.
The woman was then taken to the San José de Tijucas Hospital for medical examination. In addition to the lack of witnesses at the scene where the victim was found, there were no CCTV cameras nearby.
