This Thursday, an order was signed for the construction of a new bridge that will be built between the areas of Bucarein and Guanabara in Joinville, in the north of Santa Catarina (23). The signing ceremony took place at the Joinville Arena.
The cost of the work is estimated at approximately 6.9 million reais, and the structure will connect Coronel Francisco Gomez and Nacara streets. The crossing, 42 meters long and 15 meters wide, will have three lanes, one of which is intended exclusively for public transport.
The bridge will serve residents of different neighborhoods
The bridge will also have sidewalks for pedestrians. “This bridge will form a North/South axis connecting the Bucareina area to Guanabara. But it serves more than just these areas. It will be used for those who are in the southern region and need to get to the center or north of the city,” says Mayor Adriano Silva.
In addition to the construction of the bridge, drainage, paving and public lighting work are planned on the two streets that will be connected by the structure. The work will be carried out by a consortium of two contractors.
