According to the ministry’s Data and Figures report for the 2023-2024 academic year, released in September, these more than 1.13 million vocational students represent an increase of 4.9% over the previous year (52,397 more students). The trend towards increasing enrollment in vocational training indicates that MEFP forecastwhich assures that in the coming years up to 60% of jobs will be related to vocational training.

At the end of March last year, Organic Law 3/2022 “On the organization and integration of vocational education” (LOIFP) was approved and entered into force.
