On Saturday morning (11), a bank robber was arrested in an operation in the states of Alagoas and Minas Gerais. The arrest took place in Joinville, in the north of Santa Catarina.

According to civilian police, DIC (Division of Criminal Investigations) received information that a fugitive bank robber was hiding in the American area. Agents responded to the scene and located the defendant.

Bank robber has already been arrested in another state

According to police, it was confirmed that the man had an active arrest warrant issued by the state of Alagoas and that he had also been arrested in the state of Minas Gerais for the same crime.

The police took the accused to the DIC headquarters in Joinville. After undergoing police procedures, the man was taken to the Joinville Regional Prison.
