The man disappeared on Saturday afternoon (11) in the sea of ​​São Francisco do Sul, on the northern coast of Santa Catarina. He drowned on the Enseada coast in the early morning.

According to the fire service, the accident occurred around 1:00 pm on Saturday. The victim was fishing in the area with other people when he jumped into the sea in search of a cooler that had fallen from a cliff.

The man who disappeared in Enseada is from Jaragua do Sul.

Upon jumping, the 36-year-old would have been swept away by the current, drowned and disappeared. Firefighters are searching the area trying to find him.

According to the fire service, the man could be a resident of Jaragua do Sul. Until this article was written, the victim’s whereabouts had not been established.
