It was chasing the movie on the two main roads of Madrid: M-30 and A-4 (Andalusia). Finally, the 28-year-old driver, who tested positive for cocaine, was arrested with several injuries.

The municipal police of Madrid arrested him last Saturday after a 30-kilometer chase in which he hit several patrol cars, leaving some officers slightly injured, the police said in a statement this Monday.

It all started at 18:00, when OPSO employees were on the internal roadway of M-30 1 at the exit to the A-4 signalization along with the M-30 signal car, because there was a broken down car.

Police noticed a vehicle approaching their area at high speed, not slowing down and driving abnormally. The car had obvious damage as a result of the accident: partial loss of the bumper, missing license plate and both fins as a result of impacts, for example, on the back, reports Europa Press.

The agents began to stop him, ignoring them and speeding towards them, having to jump to get out of the way and avoid being run over. At the 12,500th kilometer of the A-4 highway, they again ordered the driver to stop the procession, but he again ignored this, trying to hit the police car several times.

The pursued driver then entered a gas station at high speed and drove through several streets in the industrial zone of the municipality of Getafe, stopping and accelerating, sometimes driving in the opposite direction and forcing cars, pedestrians and cyclists to retreat towards him. so as not to be moved.

At a certain moment, the criminal accelerated sharply and crashed his car into the patrol car on the right side, causing serious damage to it. The aggressive driver then drove onto the A-4 in the opposite direction, at some point changing direction to join traffic.

The agents asked the Civil Guard for assistance in order to control the traffic and thus be able to stop the vehicle. Another Madrid Municipal Police patrol joined the chase, blocking the man’s path and isolating him while he continued to ram police cars.

When he was arrested, the driver behaved very aggressively, hitting the police and resisting, so he had to be pulled out of the car window.

Finally, they managed to stop him at the 20th kilometer of the Andalusia highway, already in Pinto. The driver behaved very aggressively, beat the police and actively resisted, so they had to pull him out through the car window.

The arrest, which ultimately involved 12 patrols, involved the Air Support Section at the scene of the arrest, securing the area and then conducting planimetry to incorporate it into the work of the Judicial Traffic Police Unit.

They also tested him for alcohol and drugs and tested positive for cocaine. Summa-112 ambulance officers arrived at the scene and detained the man and two slightly wounded agents. He was first transferred to the 12 October Hospital in Madrid and then to the National Police Corps of the San Blas District.

The case has already been sent to court. He told agents that he came in after lunch and almost accidentally hit a woman in the Canillejas neighborhood. And that to avoid arrest, he fled at high speed, ending the police chase.

The driver had no criminal record, police sources said.
