Arteris Litoral Sul, the concessionaire responsible for the northern section of BR-101 in the Santa Catarina – Paraná corridor, will announce this Friday (20) a new schedule for the execution of the road contour works, which were supposed to be completed in 2012.
The new deadline could be February 2024, but this confirmation will only happen at the end of the day, after verification by ANTT (National Land Transport Agency) through the agency’s director general Rafael Vitale. Senator Espiridian Amin (PP) also took part in the visit.
The director general of the regulatory agency, Rafael Vitale, confirmed that the concessionaire must complete the work by February 2024 under threat of paying another fine. To date, more than R$500 million in fines have been imposed against Arteris Litoral Sul, a reflection of the disservice done to society so far.
Visit
Faced with another delay in the delivery of works previously promised for December this year, Arteris Litoral Sul has banned the presence of members of the press as part of the delegation that visits the works during the day.
A gesture that reflects the concessionaire’s lack of commitment to the people of Santa Catarina. A mockery of the inhabitants of Santa Catarina.
It is important to remember that last week the Bom Dia column brought information about another failure and since then has not received information about the completion of the work.
