A man stabbed his ex-girlfriend to death during a traffic fight in Palos on Tuesday afternoon (28). According to the Santa Catarina Military Police, the suspect claimed to have felt threatened by the victim who was chasing him.

The death occurred in the middle of Bom Jesus de Nazaré Street, in the Aririu district. According to the Prime Minister, the garrison was called to resolve the traffic situation. However, upon arriving there, the team became convinced that the death could have been due to intrigue involving the former victim, who is the suspect’s current girlfriend.

Ex crashed into suspect’s car while trying to escape

According to the prime minister, the suspect could have gotten out of the car and stabbed the victim in the middle of traffic. The man admitted to the police that he struck because his ex-girlfriend was following him.

The Prime Minister claims that the Voyage car driven by the victim crashed into the rear of the suspect’s Santana car while trying to leave the scene in a moment of “possible desperation”.

The military police did not reveal the identity of those involved in this incident.
