The driver was arrested for drunk driving on Sunday evening (20) in Braço do Norte, south of Santa Catarina. According to the military police, he ran away when he was approached and ended up colliding with a wall.
An employee of the institution called the garrison and said that two men had just left there in a state of intoxication driving a Palio model car.
During the rounds, the car was found in the parking lot of the market, and, having received the command to stop, the driver rushed off at high speed, not observing the rules of the road and endangering road users.
On the run, the driver drove into a dead end and crashed into a wall. Police officers had to use physical force to restrain the suspect and handcuff him.
In addition to being drunk, the man did not have a driver’s license and the car was held up in licensing. He was arrested and taken to the police station.
