Seven state highways in the Itajaí Valley will be covered by the Estrada Boa program announced this Thursday (10) by Governor Jorginho Mello (PL) in Florianopolis. Major works include the paving of the SC-414 road that connects Blumenau to Luis Alves and the completion of the first section of the Via Express extension on the new northern approach to Blumenau.
In addition to these two works, the package also includes the restoration of the SC-110 between Jaragua do Sul and Pomerode, work that has been underway for about a year, as well as a new viaduct over Rua Guilherme Scharf to Blumenau. .
The seven highways included in the program are SC-108, SC-110, SC-112, SC-281, SC-350, SC-414 and SC-486.
Another important work in this package is related to the city of Brusque, where a major overhaul of the Antonio Hale Highway (SC-486) is planned using the BR-101.
The Alto Vale highways will also be improved.
Other important works in the Alto Vale region will benefit the people of Ituporanga, Imbuia, Atalanta, Trombudo Central and Agrolandia. On the SC-281, the laying of a 19.3 km section of motorway linking Ituporanga with Atalanta is already underway.
At SC-350, at the clover entrance to the municipality of Imbuya, new revitalization works will be carried out with slope control for 404 km.
On the SC-112 and SC-281 motorways, the program provides for the creation of shoulders and cycle paths between Trombudo Central and Agrolandia and from Agrolandia to Atalanta with a total length of 9.15 km.

With a projected investment of 2.165 billion reais, Governor Jorginho Mello (PL) launched the Estrada Boa program this Thursday (10th) in Florianópolis, which promises to rehabilitate, implement and revitalize 1,504 km of public roads. Of these, 504 km for implementation and restoration and 1000 km for revitalization.
A total of 231 municipalities in all regions of Santa Catarina will have access to 60 motorways (38 in the first phase), which should create more than 27,000 direct jobs. The completion schedule provides for an average of 24 months and a maximum of 36 months to complete the work.
According to the state government, BRL 1.5 billion will be invested in construction works (from funding from BNDES, the National Bank for Economic and Social Development) and BRL 665 million in renovations (from the state’s own sources).
Of the 665 million reais from the state treasury, 340 million reais is already available for the program, which will be used over the next five months. The remaining 325 million reais are to be invested in the first five months of next year.
Regarding the BNDES funding of 1.5 billion reais, it will be invested over an average period of 24 months to complete the works, plus a final period of 36 months.
“Our roads are in poor condition and we are striving to restore them. 665 million reais are the result of savings in all areas of the government. Revive, lay the asphalt layer. Let’s sign it. In any case, for us to fulfill this desire of the people of Santa Catarina, overcoming all difficulties, but the infrastructure is fundamental,” said Governor Jorginho Mello.
