A man’s mobile phone was stolen around 3am last Sunday (age 23) after his car fell into a ditch and asked for help from a passing driver.

The incident took place on the main road in the area of ​​Sertão do Tromboudo, near the reservoir of Conas (Compania de Aguas), in Itapema, on the north coast of Santa Catarina.

According to the victim, he was returning from a friend’s house on 406th Street when he got lost and fell along with the car into a ditch where the car got stuck. Asking for help from another passing by driver, the same driver forced him to hand over his mobile phone, saying that he was armed.

Thus, the victim abandoned the car and mobile phone and ran to ask for help. Despite not being injured during a series of events, he had a panic attack and went to Itapema Hospital alone.

While removing the car from the site, because it interfered with traffic, the military police found that the car had received internal damage, mainly to the engine wiring, by other people. So far, the man has only missed his mobile phone.
