This Friday afternoon (02) a man was arrested for the third time in less than a year in Imbuia, in Alto Vale do Itajaí. The author of the crime of domestic violence, he was arrested for non-compliance with protection measures and threats against the victim.

The preventive arrest warrant was issued by the civilian police through the DPCAMI (Women, Children and Adolescents Protection Police Station) in Ituporanga with the support of the DIC (Criminal Investigation Division) and Imbui Police Stations, as well as Leoberto Leal.

According to the corporation, this is the third time in less than a year that the civilian police have arrested the author, against whom this measure was reintroduced at the request of the Santa Catarina State Ministry (MPSC), which brought him to justice. .

For the crime of non-compliance with the measure of protection, the author will answer fifteen times, and for the crime of threat – also fifteen times. However, according to the civilian police, he had already threatened the victim with death in front of the agents.

He was discovered and arrested around 4:00 pm after a police investigation. After legal procedures at the police station, the offender was sent to the regional prison of Rio do Sul, where he remains at the disposal of justice.
