Ten days ago, the family of Raissa Tremea Maestri, 16, was looking for news of a missing teenager in Chapeco, west of Santa Catarina. She was last seen on May 21 (Sunday) when she left a friend in the Efapi area around 7:40 am and did not return home.
According to Raisa’s mother, Iveti Tremea, she was wearing jeans, black sneakers with a pink stripe and a red sweatshirt, as well as a black backpack with pink details. The teenager is 1.73 meters tall, with red hair and glasses.
“She was at the house of my friend, her father, a man who has been working with us for a long time. She said she was going to visit a friend downtown and in the afternoon she would go to my house. She left on foot and alone,” says Ivete, who says she does not know who her friend is, as her daughter lived with her father.

This week Raisa’s disappearance was registered with the Santa Catarina Military Police’s SOS Missing Persons Service. The case is also being investigated by the DPCAMI (Delegation for the Protection of Children, Adolescents, Women and the Elderly) of the Chapeco Civil Police.
DPCAMI Chief Delegate Lysiane Junges said she is continuing her ongoing search for the missing teenager. However, according to her, secrecy is still needed.
