Agents from the Maritime District 7 of the Valencia local police have arrested a man accused of threatening, assaulting and dragging his partner in Valencia down the hallway of his home.

According to security sources, the incident took place in the early morning of April 4, around 2 am, when medical services were treating a woman who was in an anxiety crisis.

Emergency services called the local police to alert them to the event and warned that a discussion had begun between the woman and her partner.

The agents moved to the indicated place, acted as mediators between the couple and left after the conflict was resolved.

After some time, cries for “help” were heard from the woman’s house, after which the patrol returned to the area and found the victim, who was crying and who had another panic attack.

According to what he said, his partner threatened him, assaulted him and took his ID and credit card. In addition, he tore part of his clothes and dragged it along the corridor of the house, from which he had bruises.

The couple reappeared at the house with a 14 cm dagger, as well as an identity card and a woman’s card. The man was arrested for the alleged crime of gender-based violence and a protocol for victims in situations of vulnerability was activated.
