The police station of Santo Amaro da Imperatriz has launched a police investigation into the disappearance of a 3-year-old boy registered last Saturday (4) in the municipality. The information was confirmed this Thursday (9) at no data+ around the city area.
With the completion of procedures such as analysis of cameras and testimony, clarification of the circumstances of the case is expected. Military firefighters do not rule out that the disappearance occurred overland.
The search for the boy ended six days this Thursday (9). The baby disappeared around 12 noon on Saturday (4) in the Cubatan River, in the area of Caldas da Imperatriz. Firefighters said the boy was accompanied by a group of at least three adults and five children.
According to family members, the child would first fall into the shallow part of the river and be swept away by the current. The baby was not seen diving.
Since then, military firefighters have made various attempts to find the child: a binomial – a pair between a military firefighter and a search dog – has been looking for the baby, drones have been used, in addition to sweeps with underwater divers and boats inside the river. .
Now search operations are concentrated mainly on the banks of the river. They spare no effort to find the child, stressed the corporation.
