Blumenau military police in the Itajai Valley have arrested a suspect in an attempted murder in the city of Armazem, south of Santa Catarina. A 32-year-old man was arrested on Saturday morning (21) at a station in the Itupavazinha area.

According to the prime minister (military police), after the stabbing, the suspect was supposed to get into the Astra car and leave the city. The car was then seen driving through the streets of Blumenau in the Itajai Valley.

According to the military police, the place where the parked car was found is already known from previous incidents. In one of the episodes, the person involved fled from the approach of the police in the same place in the same car, leaving his wife and child.

At a house identified by neighbors as the defendant’s home, police spoke to a woman identified as the suspect’s mother, who said she did not know him. However, the police suspected the situation and entered the territory.

Then a noise was heard in one of the rooms of the house, and the police came across a suspect trying to escape through the small window of the bedroom. Unable to do so, he walked past the police to exit through the door and was detained.

When questioned, the man said that he stabbed someone six times because of a disagreement. The knife was found in the suspect’s car.

Inside the car, the police nevertheless found a plastic tube, fractional parts of 12 cocaine bushings, as well as 1252 reais in various denominations. In this situation, the man was taken to the police department, where the seized materials were also delivered.
