A zoo in the United States hosted a revelation tea last Sunday (15) for a baby eastern black rhinoceros, a rare species with only 740 living specimens in the wild.
The park, located in Kansas City, Missouri, has invited the press and community to join in a beautiful party inspired by the Internet’s famous tea, according to R7.
Zookeepers hung the ball on a tree and, with the help of the family’s patriarch, Rook the rhinoceros, announced the cub’s gender.

“IT’S A GIRL! We’re seeing pink this morning as Dad Rook helped us determine the gender of his baby girl,” the Kansas City Zoo shared on Instagram.
Also, according to the park, the animal, born on New Year’s Eve, did not participate in the ceremony, because it needs to be constantly warmed by its mother.
The zoo is now organizing a vote on the park’s website to choose a name for the baby. Options include Eve, Kiara, Mandazi, Azula, and Zumi.
