National police agents found an elderly couple who died without signs of violence the day before yesterday in their home in Móstoles, a spokesman for the Madrid police department told Europa Press.

The discovery came Thursday morning after the city council social worker who cares for the 77 and 69-year-old couple notified police that she hadn’t heard from them in days and they hadn’t returned her calls.

Then several agents and employees of the Mostoles fire department went to the house located in Juan XXIII street and found the couple lifeless, with no signs of mutual violence or suicide, so everything indicates that they died of natural causes, I take into account believe that they suffered from certain illnesses and problems with movement.

However, it is the autopsy that will determine the cause and date of both deaths. The investigation was opened by the Local Judicial Police Brigade of the Mostoles National Police.
