In the first case, the prime minister arrested a 34-year-old man on Sunday afternoon (9) in the Vila Germanica park area. Police at the party received information that a man was nearby and that the facial recognition system was supposed to tell him that he had a valid warrant for his arrest. During the search for this event, the man was found, received a vote for arrest and taken to the regional presidium of Blumenau.

In the second case, law enforcement officers detained a 26-year-old man who was also at the Oktoberfest. The military police garrison was forced to go to Vila Germanica to take a man who had a valid arrest warrant to his dislike for non-payment of alimony. The author was recognized by the characteristics collected by facial recognition cameras at the event. He received an arrest vote and was also redirected.

About 180 smart cameras are installed around the perimeter of the Vila Germanica park. In addition to ostensible security during the parades on Rua XV de Novembro and daily security around Vila Germanica Park, the 10th BPM participates in Operation Cinturão in cooperation with the PRF (Federal Highway Police), GMT (Municipal Highway Police).
