A series of operations will begin at the Joinville Central Terminal in northern Santa Catarina starting next Monday (22). The works will be carried out by the Department of Urban Infrastructure (Seinfra) of the City Hall with the help of the concessionaires of the public transport system, without stopping the bus traffic on site.

“The work is aimed at ensuring the safety, preservation and maintenance of the Central Terminal, as well as improving the comfort of users of the public transport system,” says Charlison Ribeiro, head of Seinfra’s transport division.
The bathrooms will be renovated and improved. Actions include inspection and replacement of damaged parts of ceilings and lighting. Pedestrian crossings between the platforms will also be installed.
The structure of the Central Terminal will also be washed and the necessary points will be painted. Works have a deadline of 90 days. Public transport users should be aware during this period.
