A woman sought help from a restaurant located in Braço do Norte, south of Santa Catarina, after she was assaulted by her husband. The incident happened around 6:40 pm this Saturday (6).

According to the military police, the woman reported that her husband attacked her in the morning. She also stated that he could cut her leg with a sharp object and threatened to kill her.

The victim also reported that attacks happen frequently. According to her, the partner constantly threatens her psychologically, locks her in the house and takes away her mobile phone. According to police, the victim had several old injuries from other aggressions.

According to the Prime Minister, after the message, Samu (Mobile Emergency Service) took the woman to the hospital for treatment of her injury. A complaint to the police was registered and the victim was ordered to go to the police station to ask for protection measures.
