A new phase of restoration work on the Colombo Salles Bridge has begun in Florianopolis. This time preventive work is carried out in 12 structural blocks. The emergency part of the restoration of the Pedro Ivo Campos and Colombo Salles bridges was completed in December 2021, after almost three decades without major intervention.
The total cost of this phase is BRL 14,671,732.52, of which BRL 13,431,952.78 is labor and BRL 1,239,779.74 supervision. The expected completion date for maintenance of the units is October 24, 2023.
Restoration work on the bridges connecting Santa Catarina Island to the mainland began in 2019 and included the restoration of six structural blocks, asphalt over sheet metal, fencing repairs, painting, sanding and other finishing work. The total investment reached 47 million reais.
