The environmental military police found 69 skulls of cattle illegally slaughtered in the countryside in the interior of Ipuazú, west of Santa Catarina. The act took place last Friday 924) as part of a joint operation with the civilian police and CIDASC.

According to the PMA, during the inspection, in addition to skulls, carcasses and entrails of animals were found, which were laid unevenly.

At the site, the police also reported cutting native vegetation in the permanently protected area (PPA), as well as native wood planks in the warehouse without a document of forest origin (DOF).

According to the PMA, the owner and the person in charge of the place will be liable for crimes committed in the administrative and criminal fields.
