New Year’s Eve 2023/2024 in Itapema will be marked by an unprecedented spectacle in the city’s skies: fireworks will consist of pyrotechnics of different shapes, be it a heart, a smiley face or a star. The new product is attracting the attention of residents who are wondering how companies manage to do this.
Although it seems very complicated, the explanation is simpler than it seems. It all depends on preparing the formats – with all the necessary technical knowledge in this field – and putting them in a capsule that explodes in the sky.
According to pyrotechnician Marcelo Cocote of the Vision Show company responsible for the show in Itapema, the secret of these fireworks lies in the matrix, as the design of the desired figure is called.
“[A matriz] It is developed by technicians and engineers who make hearts, for example,” explains Marcelo. “The capsule rises at the right time and lights up. It takes three to four seconds between launch and opening to unfold into a matrix format,” he adds.
The explanation is simple, but the execution must be left to professionals. According to the pyrotechnician, these fireworks are different from those sold directly to consumers because they require professional techniques to perform them.
New Year’s Eve with various fireworks will not be exclusive to Itapema
Itapema will not be the first in Brazil to receive this news. Vision Show is responsible for major shows throughout the country, for example in Rio de Janeiro these fireworks will be used on the famous New Year’s Eve in Copacabana.
The North Shore council will design a 12-minute low-noise burn, called “secondary noise”, which will make up the promised structures. Six rafts on which pyrotechnic instruments will be transported have already been installed.
