The United States government shot down four UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) over the weekend. In Santa Catarina every year, ordinary people notice and report several objects. However, in 2022, the number of messages almost reached 1,000 by December. The data comes from the GPUSC (Santa Catarina UFO Research Group), which has a large collection of reports and images of objects seen in the state.

UFO in Garuv

In the municipality of Garuva on the northern coast of Santa Catarina, two people saw a round object flying over the Serra do Mar and heading towards the municipality of Guaratuba in Paraná.

At the time, the first witness, Joao Carlos, reported that the object was flying lower than planes crossing the region and that it was round and that it could not have been an airplane, balloon or drone.

Another eyewitness who observed an object with the same characteristics moving in the sky over the municipality of Guaratuba on the south coast of Parana reported this to the SPC.

According to research by the group, the 24/7 Flightradar app was checked and did not register aircraft in the region at the time. It has also been determined through satellite monitoring applications that no satellite or International Space Station crossed the sky in this region during the observations.

Luminous spheres of Joinville

During February 2018, GPUSC received a large number of reports from people who claimed to have seen glowing orbs flying over the Joinville sky.

According to the GPUSK, the spheres were visible both during the day and at night. What drew attention in all the reports is that the witnesses did not know about each other, however, all reported that the spheres were seen in the Joinville area and were heading towards the Serra do Mar mountains or appeared near the aforementioned mountains, heading towards the ocean .

Triangle of Florianopolis

In May 2022, in the north of the island, the Florianopolis Triangle was spotted by a couple of tourists visiting the city. It was about 9 pm when they saw an object appearing over the sea and slowly moving towards the mainland, without making any noise, the lights were fixed. They reported that other people also noticed the object.

In the same month, the GPUSC also received reports from witnesses who saw an object with the same characteristics in the Governador Celso Ramos area.
