Since the 1940s, the UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) phenomenon has gained notoriety in the United States due to the mysteries that surround it. The mystery surrounding these alleged invasions has received a new chapter in Florida. A police officer photographed a UFO-like object being pursued by a US Air Force plane on Conch Beach. Officer Charles Moruz said he was patrolling the beach when he spotted a Coast Guard aircraft pursuing a dark metal object in the direction of the bay.
“I saw a Coast Guard plane fly over the bay and then I saw them coming back into the bay. I thought, “What the hell is this?” Looking up, I saw a big black thing in the sky. Based on the size of the plane in the sky, I estimate it was at least the size of a car or maybe a small plane,” Moruz said.
The policeman noticed that the plane seemed to change course, as if intent on trying to pursue. As he did so, the object, which until that moment had been virtually stationary, suddenly changed direction and accelerated at an incredible and seemingly impossible speed.
Moroz commented on the object’s speed. “This thing must have been traveling at least 800 km/h. It just fired like a rocket towards the horizon and just disappeared,” he said.
No official explanation for this sighting has been given, but Moruz insists it was not a drone.”
According to the officer, he visits the area daily and knows how drones fly. The Coast Guard, for its part, declined to confirm whether the incident took place.
