Two residents of Blumenau in the Itajai Valley this Monday (17) rescued a dog stuck in a manhole in Julio Cesar Alves de Sousa street, in the Escola Agricola area. The animal spent more than 11 hours there.
According to one of the residents, the dog was in the sewer manhole from midnight to 11 am. “About midnight, the dog started barking. We even thought it was from a neighbor, but it was an unusual bark, and he immediately barked. In the morning, I even thought about asking my neighbor why the dog was barking so hard. But in the morning he continued to bark, and when we came to look, we saw that he was stuck in the hatch.
He also says that the manhole was made of lead, which leads the man to believe that someone threw a dog into a manhole in another part of the city, and he came there on foot through a pipe. “I believe that someone deliberately put it somewhere else and it hit the pipes. Now a dog is abandoned in the street,” he says.
Together with a relative who was staying at the house, the man rescued the puppy, who received Julinho’s request. Now they want to adopt the dog, as a man cannot take care of the animal.
