The UFSC professor, who has been missing since Friday (7) and was found on Saturday evening (8), is in a state of mental distress. The information was confirmed by the PMSC (Santa Catarina Military Police) this Monday (10).
Nubia Saraiva Ferreira, 51, voluntarily left home on Friday, professor at the CCE (Center for Communication and Expression) UFSC (Federal University of Santa Catarina), said the prime minister.
The investigation revealed that Nubia had to be hospitalized to receive medical attention. According to the professors of the department, who asked not to be named, in recent days she has already behaved differently.
“We just want her to get well soon,” one of them said.
Nubia Saraiva Ferreira was born in Porto Alegre (RS). PhD from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, PhD at the Federal University of Parana and currently Professor of the Graduate Program in Linguistics and Department of Vernacular Language and Literature of the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
