Singer Anitta was hospitalized again this Wednesday (8) at the Israelite Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo. Without going into details, the artist’s consultant released a note saying that she was following medical advice. At the same time, Anitta canceled her participation in the Farofa da Gkay event, which takes place in Fortaleza.
She was admitted to the same hospital last Thursday (12/01), just after returning from a trip to Japan. After tests, Anitta discovered that she had the Epstein-Barr virus, which causes the so-called “kissing disease” – mononucleosis. However, the virus is associated with other diseases such as multiple sclerosis.
The agency’s press release reads as follows:
“We announce the cancellation of Anitta’s participation in Farofa by Gkay this year. At the request of doctors, the singer was hospitalized in Sao Paulo, which made her presence today (12.07) in Fortaleza impossible. Anitta will fulfill her other obligations after her discharge, scheduled for tomorrow.”
Participation in the Farofa da Gkay event was the only commitment that the artist has not made, at least for now. Until the closing of this article, there were no details about Anitta’s new hospitalization.
