Tom Holland explains the terms of his return in Spider-Man 4

The actor doesn’t want to make another film without a good story

Tom Holland took a break from the spotlight after the premiere of Crowded Room, his new series for Apple TV+, when the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man announced a one-year hiatus, two years having passed since his last appearance as Peter Parker. the actor spoke about Spider-Man 4.

Even without much information from Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, the fourth film in Spider-Man The MCU is in negotiations with its main character, Tom Holland, who explained why he doesn’t want to commit to a new film right away. In an interview with Collider, Holland explained that he wanted to be confident in the story and not make another film in the franchise just for the sake of it.

“All I can say is that we are actively involved in conversations about what could potentially be my character’s fourth film. Whether we find a way to do the character justice is another matter. I feel very protective of Spider-Man. I’m very, very lucky that I get to work on a franchise that has gotten better with every movie, that has gotten more successful with every movie, which I think is something very rare, and I want to protect that legacy. So, I’m not going to make another one just for the sake of making another one. It’s worth it for the character.”

Bye Spider-Man 4 is not moving forward, Sony already has three films in production with characters from the hero’s universe, and in the coming years “Madame Teya”, “Kraven the Hunter” and “Venom 3” will be released.
