Marvel announces the return of the original X-Men for a new adventure later this year

The new series should continue the events of All-New X-Men!

You X-Men take on the role of royalty again Marvel Universeand after the horrific events in the current stage of the team, we will see another great story involving Multiverse. This time the five members of the original team are – Angel, Cyclops, Beast, Iceman This Marvel Girl – will once again travel through the space-time continuum, participating in a sacred mission!

A Marvel comics announced last Monday (18) the launch Original X-Mena new comic book series that will feature the five original X-Men heroes traveling the Multiverse in service Phoenix Force. According to the synopsis released by the publisher, the comic will serve as a gateway to the new X-Men magazine, which will be released in 2024:

“This group of young mutant icons were handpicked by the Professor after a cosmic entity restores the team’s lost memories, this gritty epic explores the themes that were introduced when Brian Michael Bendis brought the Original Five to the present in 2012’s New X-Men. and pave the way for a new X. “The men’s series will be released next year!”

It’s also interesting to note how history should fill in some of the gaps left by All-New X-Men – series written by Brian Michael Bendis at the stage New Marvelin which the five original mutants are “pulled” into the present to teach lessons to their future brethren.

“The first and greatest heroes to use the name X-Men have already traveled to their future and changed the course of history. Now another multiverse mystery calls to them. When the dust settles, there will be one hero left, trapped in the world as we know it. With unexpected guests and heartbreaking twists.”

The headquarters will have scripts from Christ Gage and art Greg Land. The cover of the first edition has already been released, and it features drawings Ryan Stegman. You can check it below:

Apparently, after the end of the adventure, the team member will be trapped in the present, which will once again cause major upheaval in the timeline. Let us remember that after the events All-New X-MenUltimately, the heroes’ memories were erased and they were sent back to the past, where they lived their normal lives.
