Military experience of Joachim of Denmark
Prince Joachim was born in 1969. began his military training in 1987 as a recruit in the Dronningens Livregiment.. In 1988 he was promoted to the rank of sergeant and in 1989 to the rank of reserve lieutenant. Joachim of Denmark served from 1989 to 1990 as a platoon leader in the Prinsens Livregiment tank squad.
