Two cities in Greater Florianopolis share the “title” with the highest average price of regular gasoline in Santa Catarina, according to the weekly ANP (National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency) poll conducted from October 9 to last Saturday (15).
The survey took into account the average price of fuel sold in five cities. Among them, Biguaçu and San José registered a liter at a price of 4.95 reais. In addition to these two, Balneario Camboriú also has the highest price.
See prices in the cities surveyed:
The average cost of Florianopolis was 4.84 reais. In a survey conducted in the first week of October, Capital provided an average price of R$4.78. In other words, regular gasoline was 0.06 reais more expensive.
Balneario Camboriu also drew attention to this. At the time, Santa Catarina, a city on the north coast, ranked as the most expensive household gasoline in Brazil.
A liter of gasoline cost 7.35 reais at a gas station in the city, only the regular version was 0.10 reais cheaper than the additive version. The city differs from the state’s average gasoline price of R$4.85 per liter between October 9 and 15.
The price of gasoline has risen in Brazil
The average price of gasoline in Florianopolis follows the “movement” registered throughout Brazil. After 15 weeks of consecutive declines, fuel prices have risen again this week.
Also, according to the ANP weekly survey, the price of regular gasoline was recorded at 4.85 reais, according to a study in 1953 resale points.
The increase follows a new rise in gasoline at the Maritape refinery, the country’s largest privately controlled refinery. Acelen, the company responsible for its operation, announced on Saturday (15) a 2% adjustment. It has already corrected the values 7 days ago by 9.7%.
Acelen ads follow the trends of the international market. The price of a barrel of Brent oil, which dropped sharply to $82 in September, has again topped $90 this month.
Growth was influenced by the decision of OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) to sharply cut production.
