Ipreville (Joinville Municipality Public Employees’ Pensions Institute) issued a public notice this Monday (17) of the auction of three properties in Joinville, north of Santa Catarina. The auction will be conducted by auctioneer Machado Leiloeiro Oficial and will take place online and in person.

The first lot is for the listed property where Ipreville currently operates its headquarters, in Nereu Ramos Square in the city’s downtown area. The minimum bet amount is BRL 2,916,694.31.

The second property up for auction is the site of the old city hall asphalt plant and, most recently, the paving department of the Department of Urban Infrastructure (Seinfra) on Concordia Street in the Anita Garibaldi neighborhood. The minimum bid for this lot is BRL 10,400,543.44.

And the third property that is part of the auction is the land of the municipality’s pipe factory located on Anaburgo Street, Northern Industrial Region, the minimum bid of which will be 9,402,528.90 reais.

The electronic auction is already open for proposals, which can be submitted after the qualification of an interested candidate through the Machado Leiloeiro website. A public notice with full details of the auction is also posted on the website.

The in-person event will take place in a public meeting on November 25 at 2:30 pm at Rua 9 de Março, 485, mezzanine, Edifício Freitag, Centro. Interested parties must arrive at the site 30 minutes in advance to qualify.

It is worth noting that the bids will be closed at the same time, so that participants in the online modality will be able to compete with in-person participants.

According to Ipreville CEO Guilherme Casali, the sale of the property was one of the measures approved by the Joinville City Council in 2021 to reduce the Institute’s actuarial deficit.

In addition, everything will be sold at minimum rates according to the market valuation, guaranteeing the quality of the investment as a guarantee of the strategy for the future.

“Ipreville needs liquid funds to pay retirees and pensioners. The financial stability of the Institute is a set of actions, and having money in the financial market is a way to ensure that benefits are maintained,” says Casali.
