The crime took place on Christmas Eve 2010. According to the complaint, in a city bar, a woman and her brother had an argument with the victim, who was 69 years old at the time, over alcohol.
She hit the man in the head and face with a pool cue. The blows were so strong that the wooden object broke. With the tip formed on the tool, the woman pierced the old man’s neck.
The proceedings remained suspended from September 15, 2015 to April 3, 2019 until the defendant was found to be called to court. The woman responded to the release process and there was no direct request for preventive segregation. Thus, the magistrate retained the right to appeal.
