Santa Catarina Civil Police are awaiting test results from a 17-year-old girl who reported gang rape while returning from a party in José Buate.

The case may have happened on June 6, when she told the military police that she woke up unconscious on an avenue after being sexually assaulted by two men.

According to the responsible delegate Giuliano Bridi, the investigation already has several witnesses, but the results of tests confirming the rape are awaited. The stage is final for the continuation of research.

The victim told the military police that he was in José Buat for a wedding when he decided to walk back to her home in Presidente Getúlio. Around 5:00 am on Sunday, June 6, she started the 16 km route, which will take about two hours.

The crime allegedly happened on the avenue

Also, according to the police report, a few meters after the party, two men who were in the car should have approached her. The girl could not specify either the color or the model of the car. She only remembers that she lost consciousness and a few minutes later woke up alone on Avenida 26 de Abril.

The teenager tried to move on, but her boyfriend found her and took her to the hospital.

The board of trustees was called in the hospital unit and sent her for examination. According to police, the victim was under the influence of alcohol.
