What was added to women’s drinks in Jaragua do Sul
One of the victims contacted civilian police on the same day she was drugged and was undergoing toxicology testing at the scientific police. Blood and urine samples revealed the ingestion of the substance zolpidem, which is often used to treat insomnia.
In addition, the company’s CCTV camera recorded the suspect placing the medicine in the mug. The substance is then diluted in an energy drink and the contents are offered to one of the victims.
As established by the Civil Police, a few minutes after drinking the liquid, the woman lost consciousness, but managed to move to her living room, where she slept on the floor under a surveillance camera.
The fourth woman said that one day she slept in the room where she worked, and woke up to find the suspect caressing her body. The man didn’t drug her.
Based on the information collected, a search and seizure was carried out in the suspect’s house. Several long pieces were found and seized at the scene. The substances will be sent to the Scientific Police for analysis.
