This Monday, a man (18 years old) was arrested suspected of involvement in a double murder in Joinville, in the north of Santa Catarina. The crime occurred on January 31 of this year.

According to the Civil Police, the operation began after information was received regarding the whereabouts of the suspect, who was on the run, through the exchange of data between the 1st police station and the police homicide department.

Shots exchanged after double murder

The man is one of the people being investigated for a crime that occurred in the northern zone of Joinville. The suspects carried out two attacks and, upon seeing the military police vehicle, fired several shots at the garrison.

The suspect fled to the state of Paraná and was identified through a police investigation with the assistance of federal police officers. Federal police were already investigating him for other crimes.
