Changes in the command of Santa Catarina’s military police battalions are taking place in three cities on the northern coast. In Itapema and Balneario Camboriu, the handover ceremony took place last Friday (15). In Navegantes the celebration is planned for this Tuesday (19).
Lieutenant Colonel Eder Hasiel de Souza Oliveira left command of the 31st Military Police Battalion in Itapema and took command of the 12th Military Police Battalion in Balneario Camboriu, replacing Lieutenant Colonel Rafael Vicente.
Eder was born in the city of Umuarama in the state of Paraná and took up his current position on November 25, 2019. He joined the Military Police on February 1, 1999 and completed officer training in 2002 when he was declared a rookie officer.
Bachelor of Public Security from Univali, is a specialist in constitutional law from the FG Institute and in administration and management in the field of public security from the Graduate School of Administration and Management (Esag) of the State University of Santa Catarina (Udesque).
The new commander of Itapema was Lieutenant Colonel Edio Francisco Fiorentini Jr. He is from Arroio do Tigre (RS) and joined the Santa Catarina Military Police in 1998.
He completed the officer training course in 2000 and holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from UFSC and a postgraduate degree in Lato sensu from Unisul. On August 11, 2019, he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel.

The change of command of the 25th Military Police Battalion will take place on Tuesday (19)
In Navegantes, in the 25th Military Police Battalion, the change of command, scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, will take place from Lieutenant Colonel Evandro Fiora da Cruz to Lieutenant Colonel Dagoberto Fernandez Delahiti.
Dagoberto assumed his current position on May 5, 2020. Born in Florianópolis, he joined the military police on 1 February 1999 and completed officer training on 12 July 2002, when he was declared a rookie officer.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Security from the University of Univali, a Lato sensu Postgraduate in Investigations, Constitutional and Defense Law from the University of Anhanger and in Public Security Management from the State University of Santa Catarina (Udesque).
