Mateus Apolinario Senfe, 19 years old, went missing last Tuesday (5) when he left his home in Sao Jose. The family says they have been unable to contact the young man since then.

Matheus’ father, Rodrigo Zenfe, told Cidade Alerta that the young man lived in the United States for seven years with his family, who returned two months ago. The family is originally from Lages and lives in the Serraria neighborhood of San José.

According to family members, Matheus doesn’t know many people and suffers from depression. The day before his disappearance, Matheus left home and left his belongings at a construction site. The owners of the property called the police, and Matheus’ father was found.

The family managed to contact the young man and he returned home, but on Tuesday (5) he left again and has not returned since. The father says he can no longer contact his son.

A police report (incident report) was registered and the disappearance was reported to SOS Desaparecidos.
