Residents looking for the South East Regional Work Unit of the Joinville City Hall will find this location closed. This is because face-to-face services to the public were suspended this Monday (11) after a building located in the Fatima area was the target of burglary and theft.
Early in the morning, when employees arrived at their workplace, they realized that the unit’s building had been broken into. Electrical wiring, a TV located at the reception desk, kitchen utensils and air conditioning capacitors were seized.
According to Joinville City Hall, the suspects are believed to have entered the building through the roof and then broke down the back door to escape.
In the morning, the team counts the items seized and registers a police report so that an investigation can be carried out. Personal services to the public will resume after the power grid is restored.
Meanwhile, the Eastern and Southern regional units will provide support to residents in need of any services offered by the Southeast Region.
