Information taken from the Terra Portal. Businessman Marcelo Rubim Bencimol was beaten, knocked unconscious and robbed after he tried to protect a woman surrounded by three men.

According to Rio de Janeiro civil police, the suspect who beat the businessman, whose name has not been released, has already been arrested twice and has nine convictions for robbery, theft and drug trafficking.

An 18-year-old teenager was detained in the same place where the crime occurred. Both arrests were carried out by agents of the 13th Ipanema Police Department in conjunction with military police.

The video begins with a woman being surprised from behind by a man who tries to rob her. He leaves and she continues walking, but she is soon surrounded by four more men and she runs away, but ends up having what she has in her hand snatched from her.

At this moment, the businessman tries to help the woman, but cannot, he tries to move on, but two more men come running, and one of them punches the elderly man in the face, causing him to fall into a pot with a plant.

The pictures show the businessman still trying to escape, but the men who attacked the woman go to the aid of those running behind the elderly man, and he is hit again and loses consciousness.

The suspects took the unconscious victim’s belongings and fled.
