The man who died after his car crashed into a pole in Blumenau on Tuesday afternoon (5) has been identified. The accident occurred on Rua dos Caçadores in the Vella district after the victim became ill while driving.
Gaspar resident Antonio Bernardi was 74 years old. The military fire service and Samu (mobile emergency service) crews were called to help him, but when help arrived he was already dead, the victim of cardiopulmonary arrest.
