Two men were shot dead in Itapoa, on the northern coast of Santa Catarina, on Wednesday evening (6). The crime occurred in the Itapema do Norte area, in the city’s central area, at around 11:55 p.m.
According to military police, the victims were 42 and 32 years old. The oldest had a police record for embezzlement, and the other, in addition to embezzlement, had a record for theft, damage, illegal possession of a firearm, receiving, drug possession, theft, unlawful stalking, drug trafficking, involvement in drug trafficking, threats and shooting from firearms.
The killers did not live in the house where the crime occurred
The victims were shot inside the house. According to Civilian Police Chief Saul Bogoni Junior, the men did not live in the house where they were killed and were not related.
The owner of the house where the crime took place is missing, but it is unknown whether he was involved in the double murder, the police chief said. The author of the crime and his motives are still unknown.
