A car shop in Chapeco, west of Santa Catarina, was broken into and the robber fled in a pickup truck. The crime was handled by the Prime Minister (Military Police) late Tuesday (5) in the Ephapi area.
Police said an armed man approached the victims around 6 p.m. and demanded money and car keys. However, when people at the store refused to hand him over, the suspect shot him to death on the ground.
The suspect then took the keys and fled in a Hilux truck. According to the police, like the Hilux‘current cutter’the car was found abandoned 500 meters ahead, in the New Villas quarter.
The Scientific Police and the Civil Police were called to the scene to investigate. According to the Prime Minister, the robbery suspect was found only at 10 am this Wednesday (6). The crime was recorded by the store’s own CCTV cameras.
