Early this Sunday morning (3) in Perus, north of São Paulo, a 36-year-old military police officer was caught red-handed for shooting his partner, 33-year-old Erica Sateles Ferreira, three times, leaving her wounded. death. The crime occurred during an argument in the victim’s car on Bananalzinho Street and was captured on surveillance camera.
According to the R7 portal, after the shots were fired, the Prime Minister took Erica to Taipas General Hospital, also located in the northern zone, but, unfortunately, she did not survive. Military police were notified of a woman who had suffered a gunshot wound and was hospitalized, and the identity of the perpetrator pointed to a member of the corporation.
The suspect claimed the shots were fired during an argument during which Erica tried to grab his gun. However, security camera footage shows the officer attacking the victim before the shots were fired, and there is no evidence that she tried to take the weapon from him.
Scenes recorded by cameras show the agent attacking Erica and subsequently shooting her to death. After the events, the Prime Minister seemed distraught, returned to the crime scene and, after residents arrived, placed Erica’s body in the passenger seat to take her to the hospital.
The case was registered as feminicide at the 4th Police Department for the Protection of Women (DDM) – North and a policeman was arrested while registering the incident and taken to Romao Gomes Prison.
