A helicopter crashed this morning in…to M-40 Madrid for reasons still unknown and left three injured. One of the passengers got out on his own, while the other had to be rescued by the Madrid fire department. Both were reportedly taken to hospital, one with a minor head injury and the other with a possible femur fracture. Independent Emergency sources.

The third victim was a passenger in a car who was on the road at the time, although the impact was very minor.

The accident occurred at around 10:13 a.m. on the 5.6-kilometer ring road, which is closed to traffic while emergency services are on the scene.

The helicopter in question could have been one of those that took part in the European Rotor Fair held at IFEMA. Takeoff took place from this location at 10:12 am. The helicopter had flown less than a kilometer in a straight line when the collision occurred. Members of the Civil Guard of the Pegaso team took over the investigation to find out the causes of the incident.
